Cynthia’s contribution to the artistic experience has been in the form of digital photography and encaustic painting. She has studied under Joe Paisentin who emerged from the West Coast Abstract Impressionistic movement and earned a BA in Art from Pepperdine University with the emphasis on painting. Her work reflects the tranquil space as a form of art, where quiet, still and spiritual moments are revealed in visual form as the painting unfolds. Cynthia also earned a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and has been a practicing psychotherapist for over a decade. Her current portfolio of paintings evolved from two years of composing images in the form of digital photography.
