Elaine is a contemporary impressionistic painter living and working in Great Falls, Virginia.  She uses color, bold brush strokes and glazing techniques to create original and evocative artwork.

Elaine comes from a family of creative individuals.  Her father was a talented wood carver who created carousel horses in his free time.  Her brother is a well-known stained glass artist in England. His studio in London produces both traditional and contemporary windows for public and private spaces (see www.leadandlight.uk.co).

Elaine’s work is also found in public and private spaces.  The newly renovated Ritz Carlton Hotel in Tysons Corner displays two of her contemporary landscapes in the main lobby.  Sony Pictures purchased a piece of art for the movie “Premium Rush”.
